This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will be acting as strategic HR Business Partner to business managers by embedding HR strategy/priorities and providing professional HR support and advice. You will have a responsibility for total workforce of 700 INOPC PA employees in Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, NCR and will have the opportunity to develop and implement people strategy through the execution of HR processes.

Each day, you will provide HR support for a defined team or location, by partnering with respective managers. You will also showcase your expertise by representing HR in the business and establishing strong relationships with all business leaders and employees.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid

This role is contributing to the India Operation Center(INOPC) Process Automation at ABB Ability Innovation Center (AIC) located in Bangalore.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Ensuring people and organizational capabilities required by the Business in the mid and long term are understood and actioned and that business positions in the short term are adequately staffed to meet and exceed the business targets.
  • In close collaboration with Talent Partners, setting and implementing strategies and actions to ensure a healthy and sustainable talent structure/pipeline in the organization considering internal Talent pool and external market with an ultimate goal is to provide professional "Candidate Experience .
  • Driving and executing all talent processes with Business Leaders e.g. Talent management programs, Annual Performance Review, People Review sessions, identification and succession planning on business-critical positions and owning the talent outcomes.
  • Facilitating and optimizing organization structure with the INOPC operating model and guiding principles including restructuring and redeployment of people along with supporting INOPCs multi-location strategy implementation
  • Fostering high performance culture by effectively managing the performance management system and continuously improving the quality of the performance management process.
  • Outside of the box thinking to provide simpler solutions to current process and procedures while improving the overall efficiency of HR processes and systems and continuing to standardize, improve, current HR initiatives.
  • Interrogating HR Analytics data to understand key organizational dynamics, trends and issues and define and execute appropriate actions.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Bachelors or Master''s degree in HR/business related field.
  • 10 years of proven track record as an HR Business Partner, preferably in manufacturing industry
  • Ability to cope with different stakeholder groups in a dynamic multinational organization.
  • Expertise/Awareness in/about Indian labour law and regulation.
  • Strong stakeholders management with internal and external partners with strong motivation and leadership skills.
  • Fluency in English is a must.
  • Self-confident and trustworthy personality with intercultural affinity and high customer orientation.
