Role Overview: As an HR Consulting Freelancer based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, you will play a crucial role in various HR functions to support the organization's talent management initiatives. Your responsibilities will include recruitment support, onboarding new employees, maintaining employee records, benefits administration, HR documentation management, handling employee inquiries, HR compliance activities, coordinating training sessions, providing general HR support, and collaborating with HR colleagues and other departments. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial candidate assessments. - Help new employees navigate through paperwork, orientation, and training procedures during onboarding. - Maintain and update employee records to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements. - Provide support in benefits administration, assisting employees with benefit enrollment, addressing inquiries, and coordinating with benefits providers. - Manage HR documentation including creating, distributing, and maintaining HR-related documents such as offer letters, contracts, and policy manuals. - Handle basic employee inquiries, escalate issues when necessary, and maintain employee confidentiality. - Support HR compliance activities by monitoring and updating employment laws and regulations, and preparing HR-related reports and data analysis. - Coordinate training sessions and programs for employees, provide general HR support, and collaborate with HR colleagues and other departments. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with employees and external partners. - Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail, especially concerning HR documentation and records. - Proficiency in office software applications and HR management systems. - Teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments.
