HR Assistant

Essential HR Knowledge

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (IT-specific)

Understanding of software development roles (e.g., developer, tester, UI/UX, DevOps).

Resume screening basics.

Interview coordination and follow-up.

2. HRMS & Employee Records

Basic knowledge of HRMS tools.

Attendance, leave tracking, employee database management.

3. Payroll Basics

Understanding of salary structure (CTC, Net Pay, PF, ESI, deductions).

Monthly attendance data collection for payroll.

4. Onboarding & Documentation

Preparing offer/appointment letters.

Collecting employee documents (ID, address, certificates).

Conducting induction and maintaining files.

5. Employee Engagement & Communication

Conducting internal activities.

Handling basic employee queries.

Good written and verbal communication.

6. Soft Skills Required

Good communication (English & local language).

MS Office skills—Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, basic formulas preferred).

Basic understanding of IT environment.

Confidentiality and professionalism.

Coordination and time-management skills.

Preferred Added Skills (Optional but good to have)

Basic knowledge of HR policies.

Familiarity with job portals like Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed.

Understanding of performance appraisal basics.

Knowledge of compliance (PF, ESI, shops & establishment).

7. Educational Qualification

Any Degree (MBA / BBA)

Preferred: MBA (HR) / MSW (HRM) / PG Diploma in HR

Fresher to 1 year experience can apply.

8. Salary
