Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support high-performance compute clusters.
• Configure and optimize Linux-based systems (SuSE, RedHat, Rocky, Ubuntu) for HPC use.
• Work with CPU/GPU-based architectures, scalable storage, and high-bandwidth interconnects.
• Generate hardware BOMs, handle vendor coordination, and oversee hardware release cycles.
• Assemble and interpret project specifications and performance requirements.
• Ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Provide production-quality golden images, procedures, automation scripts, and technical documentation.
• Support new product design, manufacturing release, and end-user deployment.
  

Must-Have Qualifications

• 6 to 10 years of validated experience in HPC environments.
• Proven experience with:
• HPC systems and clusters
• Linux system administration (SuSE, RedHat, Rocky, Ubuntu)
• HPC hardware: servers, GPUs, networking, storage, BIOS & BMC
• TCP/IP fundamentals and protocols: DNS, DHCP, HTTP, LDAP, SMTP
• Shell and Python scripting
• System booting and management: PXE/Netboot, SystemD
• Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Salt, Chef, or Puppet.
• Education: BE/BTech, MCA, MSc, or MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
  

Preferred Qualifications

• DevOps exposure including:
• Jenkins, Git-based repository systems
• Container technologies: Singularity, Docker
• Monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana
• Kubernetes and orchestration experience
• Experience with web servers and networking tools: Apache, Nginx, HAProxy, reverse proxy setups
• Strong knowledge of load balancing and application routing

Additional Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
• Candidates should demonstrate career stability (minimum 2 years in recent roles)
• Candidates with only DevOps experience may not be a good fit for this role
• No employment gaps and a consistent work history are preferred
