Key responsibilities

· Staff supervision: Assign tasks to cleaning staff, supervise their performance, and handle scheduling and staff coverage.

· Quality assurance: Inspect all factory areas, equipment, and supplies to ensure they meet cleanliness and safety standards.

· Training: Conduct training for new and existing staff on cleaning procedures, equipment use, and safety protocols.

· Inventory and supply management: Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, place orders as needed, and ensure proper storage and distribution.

· Safety and compliance: Ensure all housekeeping activities comply with factory-specific safety, health, and hygiene regulations, such as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) if applicable.

· Issue resolution: Address and resolve complaints from employees or other departments regarding housekeeping services or equipment.

· Maintenance: Coordinate with the maintenance department to report and follow up on necessary repairs or maintenance for cleaning equipment and facilities.

· Reporting: Maintain records of staff performance, work assignments, and inventory levels, and prepare reports for management.

Required skills and qualifications

· Graduate or equivalent.

· Previous housekeeping supervisory experience is often preferred, sometimes in a similar industrial or healthcare setting (Pharmaceuticals industries).

· Strong knowledge of cleaning protocols, safety regulations, and chemical applications.

· Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products.

· Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organizations.

· Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

· Flexibility to work various shift, including evening and weekend.
