Housekeeping Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise housekeeping staff to ensure all guest rooms, corridors, back-of-house areas, and public spaces are cleaned and maintained to hotel standards.
• Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure quality control.
• Assign duties to housekeeping staff and prepare daily work schedules and task lists.
• Train new housekeeping employees and provide ongoing coaching and support to ensure efficient work performance.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and housekeeping equipment; place orders as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, hotel policies, and brand standards.
• Coordinate with the front desk and maintenance departments to handle special guest requests or room maintenance issues.
• Address guest complaints and resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
• Prepare reports on room status, occupancy, and housekeeping productivity.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as payroll, attendance tracking, and performance evaluations.
• Uphold confidentiality and privacy standards regarding guest information.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality is a plus.
• 2+ years of housekeeping experience in the hotel industry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Proficiency in using housekeeping management systems and basic computer applications.

Pay: From ₹13,000.00 per month
