Key Responsibilities: Operate, repair, and maintain production machinery such as mixers, conveyors, packaging machines, motors, and pumps. Perform routine preventive maintenance and attend breakdowns to reduce machine downtime. Fabricate, modify, and assemble mechanical parts using lathe, milling, drilling, grinding, and welding tools. Inspect machine parts and equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot faults in a timely manner. Maintain proper documentation of repairs, breakdowns, and maintenance activities. Follow SOPs, GMP, and food safety guidelines during all maintenance activities. Ensure all equipment is calibrated and maintained as per industry standards. Coordinate with production and QC teams to resolve operational issues. Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workshop and machine areas. Skills & Qualifications: ITI / Diploma in Machinist, Fitter, Mechanical, or related trade. 2–7 years of experience as a machinist in a manufacturing industry (food industry preferred). Strong knowledge of lathe, milling, drilling, cutting, grinding, and fabrication. Good understanding of mechanical drawings and machine components. Ability to identify technical issues and provide quick solutions. Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and plant safety standards. Good communication and teamwork skills.
