Housekeeping Supervisor

To lead and supervise the housekeeping team in the cineplex premises, ensuring that all auditoriums, foyer areas, restrooms, back-of-house zones and other public areas are maintained in a clean, safe, hygienic and guest-ready condition, thereby supporting excellent customer experience and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and schedule the daily work of housekeeping staff (auditorium attendants, lobby cleaners, restroom attendants, back-of-house cleaning crew). Indeed+1
• Assign tasks and zones; ensure that cleaning standards are met in auditoriums, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, stairways, staff areas, and concession/back-of-house spaces. Betterteam+1
• Conduct regular inspections of all assigned areas to check cleanliness, appearance, hygiene and safety. Recruiting Resources+1
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment and chemicals; requisition/replace as needed, monitor usage and wastage. Indeed+1
• Provide training and on-the-job coaching for housekeeping team regarding cleaning methods, use of equipment/chemicals, health & safety procedures, customer-facing behaviour. Manatal+1
• Respond to and resolve housekeeping-related guest/visitor complaints and special requests in a timely and courteous manner. Indeed
• Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, sanitation and safety regulations (e.g., proper chemical usage, safe storage, hazard reporting). withe.co
• Liaise with maintenance, operations and front-of-house teams to flag any repair needs (e.g., damaged seats, broken fixtures, stains, leaks) and ensure prompt corrective action.
• Monitor housekeeping staff attendance, performance, and conduct periodic performance feedback; participate in recruitment, promotions/transfers as required. Betterteam

Requirements / Skills

• Proven experience in housekeeping supervision or equivalent role; experience in hospitality/entertainment/large public venue preferred. Manatal

• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, evenings as required (since cineplex operations often include late hours).
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training/certification in housekeeping/cleaning operations is a plus.

Preferred

• Experience in a cinema/theatre environment or other high-footfall public venue.
• Knowledge of inventory management and basic budgeting.
• Basic computer skills (for scheduling, reporting, stock records).

Working Conditions

• The role involves movement throughout the cineplex premises – auditoriums, lobbies, restrooms, service areas, storage rooms.
• Shifts may include evenings, weekends, public holidays depending on business hours.
• The role may require occasional hands-on cleaning support when staffing is constrained.
• Must adhere to all company policies for safety, sanitation and guest service.
