Holiday Consultant

Job Summary:

As a Holiday Consultant, you will act as a pivotal liaison between clients and travel service providers, crafting bespoke holiday itineraries tailored to individual preferences and budgets. You will leverage your extensive knowledge of global destinations, travel trends, and logistics to deliver exceptional travel experiences, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with clients to ascertain their holiday preferences, requirements, and budgets through detailed consultations.
• Design, recommend, and customize holiday packages encompassing flights, accommodations, excursions, and ancillary services.
• Provide authoritative advice on visa requirements, travel insurance, health precautions, and local customs.
• Coordinate bookings with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and other suppliers, ensuring optimal rates and availability.
• Monitor client travel plans and provide proactive support during pre-trip, in-trip, and post-trip stages.
• Resolve client issues efficiently, maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in travel consultancy, holiday planning, or related customer service roles.
• In-depth knowledge of popular travel destinations, airline systems, and booking platforms.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a flair for customer engagement.
