Job Summary

The Senior Manager Talent Acquisition is responsible for designing, implementing and leading end-to-end recruitment strategies to attract, engage, and hire top talent across the organization. The role includes leading the TA team, partnering with business heads for workforce planning, strengthening employer branding, and driving process excellence using data and technology, aligned with NBFC growth objectives and culture.

Results

1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment data, including candidate pipelines, hiring metrics, and recruitment costs.

2. Ensure team is following the Policy and Process of recruitment as per the norms of the company.

Responsibilities -

  • Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute long-term hiring strategies aligned with business expansion and headcount plans.
  • Partner with business leaders and HODs to forecast hiring needs and maintain proactive talent pipelines.
  • Create and drive innovative sourcing, diversity hiring, and employer branding initiatives.

  • Team Management & Capability Building

  • Lead, mentor and manage recruiters / TA specialists to deliver high-quality hiring results.
  • Define KPIs for the team and conduct regular performance reviews and coaching. Set clear performance metrics, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities for the team.
  • Ensure continuous capability enhancement and adoption of recruitment best practices.

  • Process Excellence & Technology

  • Standardize and optimize recruitment processes to reduce TAT and enhance quality of hires.
  • Leverage ERP / ATS / digital tools to improve efficiency and accuracy in hiring.
  • Monitor and improve metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, offer-to-join ratio, and joining productivity.

  • Employer Branding & Candidate Experience

  • Strengthen the companys employer brand through targeted campaigns and partnerships.
  • Ensure a consistent, positive candidate experience from sourcing to on boarding.
  • Build relationships with colleges, job portals, vendors, partner agencies, and diversity networks.

  • Analytics, Governance & Reporting

  • Establish and track key recruitment metrics and KPIs to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with recruitment policies, audits, and documentation standards.
  • Use data-driven insights to recommend improvements and support business decisions.

Experience (Industry type & Duration):

Essential:

  • 10–15 years of progressive talent acquisition experience with minimum 4–5 years managerial experience.
  • Experience in NBFC / BFSI hiring across SME, Retail, Collections, Risk, Ops & Tech roles.

Preferred:

  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Proven experience leading hiring in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with proven ability to improve TA metrics.
  • Commitment to ethics, transparency and diversity in hiring.
