Position Summary: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to oversee and enforce safety protocols across our oil & gas projects, both onshore and offshore . The role involves ensuring compliance with national and international safety standards, promoting a strong safety culture, and reducing risk through proactive measures and continuous monitoring. Key Responsibilities: General (Onshore & Offshore): Implement and enforce company HSE policies, procedures, and legal compliance. Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments (HIRA, JSA). Ensure adherence to Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems for high-risk activities. Conduct incident/accident investigations and root cause analyses. Organize safety inductions, toolbox talks, and emergency drills. Monitor use of PPE and ensure compliance among all personnel. Maintain safety logs, reports, training records, and documentation. Support emergency response planning and execution. Onshore Operations: Supervise construction, maintenance, and shutdown activities. Monitor excavation, scaffolding, heavy lifting, and confined space work.
