Job Description

Job Description Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manager EHS to support the implementation and monitoring of Environment, Health & Safety practices across project sites or plant operations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with applicable EHS regulations, company policies, and industry standards while fostering a safe working environment.

Designation : Manager - HSSE

Education Qualification : Any Engineering degree with NEBOSH

Total Years of Experience 14 to 18 Years

Responsibilities:

1. HSSE Policy & Compliance

Develop, implement, and monitor HSSE policies, procedures, and management systems.
Ensure compliance with national legislation, regulatory requirements, and international standards (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001, OHSAS, etc.).

2. Safety & Risk Management

Conduct hazard identification, risk assessment (HIRA), and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Develop emergency preparedness and response plans for site operations.
Monitor security arrangements and access control systems to safeguard assets and personnel.

3. Site Safety Management

Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and toolbox talks.
Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents; prepare reports with corrective and preventive action plans.
Ensure safe working practices in high-risk activities (excavation, working at height, confined space, heavy lifting, electrical works, etc.).

4. Training & Awareness

Organize HSSE induction for new employees, contractors, and visitors.
Develop and deliver training modules on safety, fire prevention, first aid, and environmental practices.
Drive awareness campaigns to instill a culture of zero harm.

5. Environmental & Sustainability Management

Monitor and manage waste disposal, pollution control, and energy efficiency at sites.
Ensure compliance with environmental management plans and client sustainability requirements.
Promote initiatives on water/energy conservation, green building practices, and carbon footprint reduction.

6. Reporting & Documentation

Maintain HSSE performance records, dashboards, and statutory registers.
Provide monthly/weekly reports on safety statistics, observations, and compliance levels.
Support management reviews and audits.
