Health Safety Environment Officer

As an HSE Officer at a renowned company in UAE with ONSHORE/OFFSHORE ADNOC Experience, your role is crucial in ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. You will be responsible for promoting safe work practices, conducting risk assessments, and implementing HSE programs to protect personnel, equipment, and the environment. **Responsibilities:** - Monitor and enforce compliance with local, national, and international HSE laws and standards. - Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments. - Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents; prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions. - Conduct safety induction and training for new employees and subcontractors. - Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and emergency response plans. - Ensure the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices. - Maintain records of safety incidents, inspections, permits, and training. - Coordinate with supervisors and managers to resolve HSE issues. - Promote a culture of safety awareness across the organization. - Liaise with external bodies such as regulatory authorities and emergency services when required. **Qualifications:** - Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field. - NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent HSE certification. - 3+ years of experience in a similar HSE role (construction, oil & gas, manufacturing, etc.). - Strong knowledge of relevant safety legislation and industry standards. - Good communication, report writing, and investigation skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Proficiency in MS Office and HSE reporting tools.,
