As a Travel Manager at our organization, you will be responsible for managing the in-house Travel Desk efficiently and effectively. Your primary role will involve coordinating and organizing travel arrangements for a diverse range of individuals, including employees, guests, customers, and VIPs. You will handle various aspects of travel planning, such as ticketing, visa processing, accommodation bookings, travel insurance, and itinerary customization for different age groups. Your key responsibilities will include planning and managing end-to-end travel arrangements for both business and personal purposes, handling visa documentation and processing for multiple countries, booking suitable accommodations as per travel requirements and budget constraints, creating tailored travel itineraries incorporating events and activities for different age categories, liaising with travel vendors and service providers, tracking travel expenses to ensure cost-effective bookings, and ensuring compliance with company travel policies and safety standards. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field, while a diploma or MBA in travel-related fields would be advantageous. Strong proficiency in English and knowledge of an additional language, excellent computer skills, multitasking abilities under pressure, negotiation skills, and knowledge of global travel trends and cultural considerations are essential. Furthermore, holding certifications such as IATA Certification, GDS Training, Visa Documentation Training, and experience with hotel and travel booking platforms would be beneficial. You should have 3-5 years of relevant experience in corporate travel desk operations or a travel agency, with expertise in ticketing, visa processing, hotel reservations, itinerary planning, and group travel coordination. The ideal candidate will be capable of fulfilling the responsibilities outlined and building a proficient team to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.,
