Experience :- Must have experience of working in SAfety Deparment in Chemical/API/Pharma unit Job location :- Badlapur. Dist. Thane, Maharashtra, India Job Profile :- Day to day operation and maintenance of ETP and ensure effluent is treated and discharged as per the govt. Norms. Manage hazardous waste arising at site and submission of manifest for disposal. Liasioning with external govt. agencies (MPCB, Factory inspector) Compliance to all statutory requirements. Should prepare, Implement and Maintain Policies, Procedures related to Environment, Health and Safety. Investigate Accident/Incident/Near miss and prepare a report. Daily inspects a workplace & sites ensure it is hazarding free environment. Train and carries out drills and exercises on how to manage the situation. Carry out risk assessment, provide and maintain permit to work system. Identify training needs and provide trainings to all employees. Conducting Risk assessment, HAZOP. Arrange safety committee meetings and make a report, Prepare a report on MIS. Ensure all emergency equipment’s are operational and ready to use.
