Role: Head – Training & Development Department: Training & Development Reports to: Chief Business Officer (CBO) Purpose of the Role To plan, design, and deliver effective training programs for mutual fund distributors, channel partners, and internal sales teams across India. The aim is to improve product knowledge, sales effectiveness, and brand presence through continuous capability building. Key Responsibilities 1. Training Delivery & Facilitation
- Conduct classroom, virtual, and on-field training sessions for distributors and sales teams.
- Cover topics such as mutual fund products, financial planning, SEBI regulations, and sales techniques.
- Lead sessions during SIP drives, partner meets, and regional engagement programs. 2. Content Development
- Create and update training materials, presentations, and e-learning content as per company strategy and SEBI norms.
- Work with product and marketing teams to incorporate new schemes and market updates. 3. Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with zonal and regional heads to identify learning needs.
- Represent the company at partner events, industry programs, and AMFI/NISM certification sessions. 4. Performance Tracking
- Measure training effectiveness through assessments and feedback tools.
- Maintain regular reports (MIS) on training coverage and outcomes. 5. Market Awareness
- Stay informed on mutual fund trends, competitor initiatives, and new financial products.
- Share feedback from the field to help improve training programs and distributor support. 6. Business Expansion & Strategy
- Identify and on board new distribution partners and strengthen existing relationships.
- Develop and execute regional growth strategies aligned with organizational objectives. 7. Distributor Engagement & Enablement
- Work closely with distributors, IFAs, and partner networks to increase active participation.
- Conduct growth campaigns, SIP drives, and cross-selling initiatives. 8. Data Analytics & Reporting
- Use business intelligence and analytics tools to monitor KPIs, trends, and growth opportunities.
- Prepare periodic reports on business growth, distributor performance, and market feedback.9. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work with internal teams such as Marketing, Product, and Operations to ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
- Provide market insights and feedback to product and strategy teams for development of new offerings.
Qualifications Essential: MBA in Finance or equivalent. Desired: CFP / CWM certification and proficiency in MS Office. Experience
- 8–12 years in the Mutual Fund or BFSI industry, preferably in training, distribution, or advisory roles.
- Must hold a valid AMFI/NISM certification.
- Experience in pan-India training or channel partner development preferred. Skills & Competencies Functional Skills:
