Head - Taxation

You will be joining our finance team as the head of Taxation, where you will oversee the company's tax strategy, compliance, and reporting. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing tax strategies aligned with the company's financial goals, identifying tax savings opportunities, ensuring accurate and timely tax filings, providing expert advice on tax implications for business initiatives, leading a team of tax professionals, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on tax-efficient transactions. You will also be responsible for managing transfer pricing policies, ensuring accurate tax provisions in financial statements, identifying and mitigating tax risks, and engaging with stakeholders on tax matters. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with 15+ years of progressive experience in tax compliance and planning. You should possess strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles, experience with tax software and financial systems, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, effective leadership and team management abilities, and exceptional communication and presentation skills. Being detail-oriented, able to work under tight deadlines, and adaptable to changes in tax regulations and business environments are also essential qualities. Preferred qualifications for this role include relevant certifications such as CPA or CMA and experience at top tax firms and retail companies, which would be considered an added advantage.,
