Job Title: SAP Controlling Lead Consultant Must have skills: SAP CO Product Costing (Standard and Actual Costing) Margin Analysis (Account-Based COPA in S/4HANA) Material Ledger (Multi-currency & Actual Costing in S/4HANA) Strong cross-functional integration with MM, PP, FI modules Experience leading SAP CO solution design and full-cycle implementations. Stakeholder management and team leadership skills Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced SAP CO Lead Consultant with deep expertise in Product Costing, Actual Costing, Margin Analysis, and Material Ledger within S/4HANA. The role requires processes and configuration efforts, driving value through accurate costing processes, and collaborating with stakeholders and team members. Prior experience working with automotive clients is highly preferred. Roles & Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end design and configuration of SAP CO solutions in S/4HANA. Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Product Costing, Actual Costing, and Margin Analysis. Own the configuration and operation of the Material Ledger. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specs. Manage and guide a team of consultants to ensure high-quality deliverables. Conduct workshops, design reviews, and solution walkthroughs with client teams. Ensure seamless integration of CO processes with MM, PP, and FI. Professional & Technical Skills: Deep functional knowledge of SAP CO submodules: Product Costing, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and COPA. Proven expertise in Material Ledger configuration (period-end closing, multi-currency setup, actual costing runs). Experience in Margin Analysis setup with profitability characteristics and reporting. Strong knowledge of cost flows from procurement to production and sales. Comfortable working with Fiori apps, CDS views, and S/4HANA embedded analytics. Hands-on experience with cross-functional integration (MM, PP, FI, SD). Additional Information: Preferred industry : Automotive Location : Gurgaon, Bangaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai. (Hybrid work model) Education : Master’s in finance, Chartered Accountant, similar qualifications Travel : May be required depending on client location Project methodology : Experience with SAP Activate or Agile is an advantage Certifications : S/4HANA CO or Finance certification preferred Language skills : Strong communication skills in English; additional languages a plus Good to have skills: Automotive industry experience (OEMs or Tier 1/2 suppliers) SAP S/4HANA certification – Controlling or Finance SAP Fiori experience relevant to CO processes Exposure to SAP Activate or Agile project methodologies Experience: 8 to 15 years of hands-on SAP CO experience with at least 3-5 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations. Automotive domain experience preferred.
