About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and data-driven

OMNI Merchandising Lead

to drive the growth of our categories across online channels. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of

fashion retail

,

category management

, and

customer-centric planning

strategies to optimize product visibility, stock movement, and market positioning.

Key Responsibilities

Category Ownership & Strategy

  • Lead end-to-end merchandising for digital platforms.
  • Drive short- and long-term commercial strategy with a focus on Share of business, growth, and profitability.
  • Regularly assess fashion trends, competition, and consumer demand to build seasonally relevant assortments.

Planning, Buying & Stock Management

  • Manage planning cycles from product range planning to buying, allocation, and replenishment.
  • Optimize stock flow to ensure product availability in the right store/channel, at the right time.
  • Identify high performers and slow movers and take action to maximize sell-through.

Commercial Growth & Analytics

  • Monitor and report KPIs: sales performance, inventory turns, profitability, etc.
  • Partner with supply chain and analytics teams to ensure accurate demand forecasting.
  • React quickly to sales insights, adapting plans and buys to improve performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with E-commerce, Marketing, VM, Design, Buying, and Store teams to align on product visibility and strategy.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and production partners to ensure timely delivery and compliance to critical paths.

What We’re Looking For

Skills & Experience

  • 6–10 years of relevant experience in merchandising, category management, or buying (fashion & apparel preferred).
  • Strong exposure to OMNI retail strategy and merchandising in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Analytical, commercially astute, and adept at using Excel, merchandising tools, and dashboards.
  • Hands-on experience in e-commerce merchandising, P&L ownership, and stock planning.
  • Excellent communication, market awareness, and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Background

  • Fashion / Apparel / Retail Industry
  • NIFT or similar fashion/merchandising educational background is a plus.
