Location: Bhubaneshwar

Educational Background

• Master of Science (Computer Science/Information Technology) or Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
• Preferred Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect / Azure Architect, ITIL, PMP/Prince2, AI/ML certifications, Cybersecurity (CISSP / CISM), TOGAF

Experience

• Minimum 10–12 years of professional experience in software development & architecture
• At least 5 years in a leadership/managerial role heading large software teams and delivering mission-critical projects
• Experience working with Govt./PSU projects or large-scale Intelligent Transportation Systems is a strong plus

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Strategy
• Build, lead, and mentor a multidisciplinary software engineering team.
• Define the technology vision, strategy, and roadmap for IEMS & ITS solutions.
• Manage team performance, budgets, and vendor/partner coordination.
• Software Development & Architecture
• Design and oversee the end-to-end software architecture for IEMS modules (Dashboard, ANPR, VIDS, FRS, VMS).
• Establish best practices for coding standards, secure SDLC, DevOps, and quality assurance.
• Supervise development of scalable web & mobile applications and demonstrate solutions to government authorities.
• Technical Expertise
• Proficiency in programming languages: C, C++, Python, Java, React, JavaScript, .NET.
• Strong understanding of Databases (SQL/NoSQL), APIs, and Microservices Architecture.
• Expertise in cybersecurity systems, authentication, and data privacy for government-grade systems.
• Knowledge of Embedded Systems, IoT integration, and real-time analytics.
• Domain-Specific Knowledge (Transport/ITS)
• Hands-on experience with Video Incident Detection Systems (VIDS), ANPR, Facial Recognition, and VMS solutions.
• Integration with VAHAN, NIC, and other Govt. portals.
• Familiarity with Advanced Traffic Management Systems (ATMS) and ITS standards.
• Understanding of V2I (Vehicle-to-Infrastructure), V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) communication.
• System Integration & Networking
• Integration of applications with legacy and modern IT systems.
• Knowledge of networking, telecom services, switches, routers, cameras, radars.
• Experience in cloud-native deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-prem hybrid models.
• Operations & Delivery
• Manage end-to-end SDLC including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, CERT-In, CMMI, and Govt. security standards.
• Drive innovation in AI/ML analytics for predictive enforcement and traffic management.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
