About the Role

We are seeking a highly driven Director / Senior Manager – Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) to lead our end-to-end revenue cycle operations. This leadership role will be pivotal in optimizing medical billing, coding, claims management, and collections while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will combine strong operational expertise with a strategic mindset to maximize revenue generation, improve AR performance, and enhance overall billing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership across all aspects of the revenue cycle, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

Establish and monitor policies, procedures, and KPIs to drive performance improvements.

Oversee denial management processes, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA, payer guidelines, and federal/state regulations.

Partner with clinical, finance, and IT teams to align revenue cycle strategies with organizational goals.

Drive automation, process improvements, and workflow optimization.

Manage payer relationships, resolve escalated claim/payment issues, and negotiate reimbursement terms.

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting related to RCM.

Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of billing, coding, and AR professionals.

Monitor AR aging, identify trends, and implement strategies to reduce AR days and improve cash flow.

Present performance metrics and insights to executive leadership and clients.

Foster a culture of accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Skills & Competencies

Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.

Proven leadership and team management experience.

In-depth knowledge of healthcare billing compliance and regulatory requirements.

Ability to manage competing priorities and drive organizational change.

Proficiency in RCM analytics, dashboards, and reporting tools.
