Head of Content

We are looking for a Head of Content to lead our editorial team and guide and shape our content strategy across all platforms. The ideal candidate will be an innovative leader with extensive knowledge of B2B communication, exceptional editorial skills, and a proven track record of producing engaging and compelling content that resonates with our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation and Ideation:

· Create and implement a detailed content strategy that aligns with the company's objectives and the needs of the audience.

· Manage the editorial calendar, ensuring that high-quality content is delivered punctually across all platforms (website, newsletters, social media, events, etc.).

· Discover and experiment with new content formats and distribution channels to enhance audience engagement and expand reach.

· Ensure the creation of authoritative, accurate, and engaging content that meets the highest journalistic standards.

· Supervise the curation of industry news, trends, and insights, delivering valuable information to our audience.

· Work closely with other departments (e.g., Marketing, Sales) to develop content that aligns with and supports business objectives.

· Use analytics to gain insights into audience behavior and preferences, optimizing content to boost engagement and growth.

· Apply SEO best practices to increase content visibility and reach.

· Develop and implement strategies to grow and retain the audience.

Team Leadership:

· Guide and mentor a team of editors, writers, and content creators, promoting a collaborative and innovative work culture.

· Recruit, train, and oversee freelance contributors and industry experts.

· Preserve and refine the brand voice, ensuring consistency across all content.

· Act as a brand ambassador, representing the company at industry events and conferences.

 

Education & Experience

· Master’s degree in Journalism, Broadcast Media, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. Experience

· At least 5-7 years of experience in content creation and management, with a preference for experience in B2B media.

Skills

· Outstanding writing, editing, and storytelling abilities.

· Strategic mindset with the capability to convert business objectives into successful content strategies.

· Proficient in using content management systems (CMS), analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and social media platforms.

· Excellent skills in project management and organization.
