About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure and Product Scaling Leader to own and evolve our AWS-based architecture supporting our Net Zero and Carbon Management platforms. This role requires deep technical expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure, DevOps, security, and product scalability — combined with leadership to manage growth across global environments.

You will oversee system reliability, performance, security, and cost optimization across multi-account AWS environments and work closely with the product and engineering teams to scale our digital sustainability platform globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all AWS infrastructure components — including multi-account setup, CI/CD pipelines, and security compliance (ISO 27001, GDPR).
• Oversee and optimize AWS services: VPC, ECS Faregate, API Gateway, Lambda, Cognito, CloudFront, DynamoDB, Bedrock, S3, CloudFormation, and KMS.
• Ensure continuous availability and performance across distributed architectures with load balancing, auto-scaling, and multi-zone redundancy.
• Own infrastructure cost control, monitoring, and security through CloudWatch, Guard Duty, Macie, and WAF.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deploy new APIs and features seamlessly using Code Pipeline / Code Build / ECR / LightSail.
• Manage integrations with Shopify, Xero, Google Analytics, SendGrid, Segment, and third-party data partners.
• Drive compliance alignment and reporting with Vanta for ISO 27001 & GDPR frameworks.
• Build an infrastructure roadmap to support future AI and data analytics workloads (Bedrock, Tex tract, Comprehend, Athena).

Requirements

• 8–12 years’ experience in AWS cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise in AWS ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, VPC, Route 53, CloudFormation, and IAM.
• Experience designing and maintaining secure, scalable, multi-tenant systems in production.
• Proven ability to automate, monitor, and optimize using CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
• Understanding of security, compliance, and observability frameworks.
• Exposure to AI/ML, sustainability, or carbon-tech products is highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with Flutter, Next.js, or mobile/web application backend architecture.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 controls, SOC 2, or equivalent compliance environments.

Location

Remote (Preferred: India-based/ Bangalore/ Sydney Time Zone, collaborating with Australia HQ – Sydney).
