About the job: Key responsibilities: 1. Data Ingestion & Storage 2. Capture Excel attachments from incoming emails. 3. Automate storage in Azure Data Lake 4. Data Processing & Transformation 5. Use Azure Data Factory (ADF), Synapse, or Fabric Dataflow Gen2 to read Excel files from Data Lake. 6. Cleanse, validate, and transform raw data into usable formats. 7. Data Storage & Modelling 8. Store processed data in Lakehouse (Delta) or Azure SQL Database for analytics and AI consumption. 9. Data Consumption & AI Integration 10. Feed data into Power BI for reporting and visualisation. 11. Assist in building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines with OpenAI for intelligent data querying. Good to Have (training will be provided): Experience with Azure Data Lake, ADF/Synapse, or Fabric. Understanding of Delta Lake / Lakehouse concepts. Basics of Python for data processing. Familiarity with OpenAI API and RAG concepts.
