Job Title: Head of Business Development
Department: Sales
Reports To: Management
Team Leadership: Leads the Business Development team
Location: Kochi, Kerala

Role Overview

The Head of Business Development is responsible for driving Inter Smart’s growth initiatives by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and leading revenue generation. This role demands strategic vision, leadership, and hands-on execution to strengthen the company’s presence in both domestic and global markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead inbound and outbound lead generation to achieve business growth and sales targets.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to expand market reach and brand visibility.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored proposals aligned with client requirements and company objectives.
  • Conduct, manage, and follow up on client meetings and proposal discussions.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships for sustained business growth.
  • Contribute to business analysis, design strategy, and project coordination.
  • Support project management teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Represent Inter Smart at global events, trade shows, and networking forums.
  • Train, guide, and mentor business development executives to boost performance.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of proven experience in IT sales, business development, or digital marketing solutions.
  • Strong understanding of website platforms, software solutions, and digital strategy.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for business expansion.
