Job Description

Position: Head of AI Cybersecurity


Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead Protectt.ai’s AI cybersecurity strategy, setting vision, priorities, and execution roadmap.
  • Build and manage the AI security function, including team development and cross-functional alignment.
  • Identify and mitigate threats across the AI/ML lifecycle; implement threat modeling, red teaming, and secure development practices.
  • Collaborate with AI Research and Engineering teams to ensure secure model development, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Establish internal governance and external trust frameworks covering transparency, fairness, and responsible AI use.
  • Drive adoption of privacy-preserving technologies and lead security assessments, audits, and incident response for AI systems.
  • Represent industry forums, standards bodies, and customer security engagements.
  • Continuously monitor and act on emerging AI security threats and research to maintain industry leadership.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, AI, or related field (PhD preferred).
  • 8+ years in cybersecurity, including 3+ years focused on AI/ML systems or adversarial machine learning.
  • Deep understanding of risks across AI/ML systems, including model threats, data vulnerabilities, and privacy risks.
  • Proven leadership in secure architecture design and large-scale AI threat mitigation.
  • Hands-on with tools such as IBM ART, CleverHans, SecML, or PrivacyRaven.
  • Familiarity with security standards (NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, OWASP Top 10 for LLMs).
  • Strong communication skills across technical and executive levels.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, Vertex AI, Azure ML).
  • Knowledge of adversarial ML defense and secure model deployment.
  • Contributions to AI security research or open-source tools.
  • Understanding of regulations (EU AI Act, GDPR) and responsible AI frameworks.
  • Experience working with enterprise security, compliance, and audit functions.
