Job Responsibilities :
Lead the design team, providing technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and designers.
Establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices for all MEP, BMS, FF, and ELV disciplines.Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.Conduct regular design reviews and quality control checks to ensure project quality and adherence to deadlines.
Provide technical support and guidance to project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other consultants to ensure integrated design solutions.Manage the design budget and schedule for all MEP, BMS, FF, and ELV systems.Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
Research and implement innovative technologies and solutions to improve building performance and efficiency.
Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and advancements in MEP, BMS, FF, and ELV systems.Explore and implement sustainable and energy-efficient design strategies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Effectively communicate technical information to clients and internal teams.Address client concerns and resolve design-related issues promptly.
Recruit, hire, and train a high-performing team of design engineers.Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Education Requirement :
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering will be desirable
Experience Requirement :
- 25 plus years of experience preferably from Real Estate industry with a proven track record of managing luxury residential projects out of which 15+ years of experience in the design and engineering of MEP, BMS, FF, and ELV systems for large-scale building projects.
- Proven experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary design teams.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., NFPA, ASHRAE, LEED).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM software).
- Experience with sustainable and energy-efficient building design principles.
