As a Sous Chef at the fine-dining restaurant, your role involves overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations to ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service. You will be responsible for supervising and mentoring kitchen staff, collaborating with the Culinary Head in menu planning, maintaining food safety regulations, managing inventory levels, executing complex dishes, upholding culinary standards, and fostering a positive work environment. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations to maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service. - Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. - Collaborate with the Culinary Head in menu planning, incorporating innovative and seasonal ingredients. - Ensure kitchen activities comply with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in food preparation areas. - Manage inventory levels, ordering, and stock rotation to minimize waste and optimize cost control. - Oversee the preparation and execution of complex dishes for a flawless dining experience. - Lead by example in upholding culinary standards, professionalism, and teamwork. - Assist in scheduling, labor cost management, and staffing decisions for optimal productivity. - Participate in menu tastings, kitchen meetings, and performance evaluations. - Represent the culinary team in interactions with suppliers, vendors, and other departments. Qualifications: - Proven experience as Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a fine-dining restaurant. - Culinary degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized culinary institution. - Strong knowledge of Italian, Continental, European cuisine. - Strong leadership and management skills. - Exceptional culinary skills with attention to detail and passion for excellence. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, consistency, and guest satisfaction. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.,
