Role Overview: As a Head Chef at our leading catering network with offices in India, USA, and Australia, you will be responsible for organizing the kitchen's activities. Your primary role will be to oversee the food preparation process, create menus, ensure high-quality dishes, and manage kitchen staff effectively to deliver exceptional culinary experiences to our customers. Key Responsibilities: - Control and direct the food preparation process and other related activities. - Construct menus with new or existing culinary creations, ensuring variety and quality. - Approve and refine dishes before serving them to customers. - Plan orders for equipment or ingredients based on identified shortages. - Arrange for repairs when necessary and address any problems or defects. - Lead the hiring, management, and training of kitchen staff. - Supervise the work of subordinates, estimate workload, and manage compensations. - Ensure compliance with nutrition, sanitation regulations, and safety standards. - Foster a climate of cooperation and respect among co-workers.
