Head Business Development

Preferable Candidate :-

Candidate should be experienced in fabrication industry for food, Pharma, Dairy Process Equipment , Reactors , Pressure Vessel, Dryer, heat exchanger

Role & responsibilities

Strategic & Business Leadership

• Develop and execute growth strategies to scale the fabrication business to 50 Cr. in 3 years.
• Provide entrepreneurial leadership to strengthen the divisions market presence.
• Build and nurture strong client relationships in the pharma and food equipment sectors.

Operations Management

• Lead and oversee day-to-day operations of fabrication and machine-building projects.
• Ensure timely execution, engineering accuracy, and adherence to GMP/ASME standards.
• Drive productivity improvement, lean manufacturing, and quality excellence.

Financial & P&L Management

• Full P&L responsibility for the division, ensuring profitability and cost control.
• Implement budgets, forecasts, and monitor operational KPIs.
• Optimize vendor sourcing, supply chain, and inventory management.

People & Vendor Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
• Drive supplier/vendor development for long-term partnerships and alternate sourcing.
• Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Business Growth & Innovation

• Explore new business opportunities in pharma/food machinery fabrication.
• Drive R&D in process equipment, ensuring innovation and compliance.
• Position the division as a preferred partner for global pharma/food companies.

Preferred candidate profile

- Extensive experience in stainless steel fabrication and Machine Building.

- Demonstrated leadership in managing operations.

- Entrepreneurial mindset with a history of overcoming business challenges.

- Willingness to relocate to Pune, if not already based there.

- Sound technical (Mechanical ) Understanding.
