Job Description

Role Overview: As a Hardware & Networking Engineer in the NVOCC Industry, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and IT peripherals. You will set up and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, and ensure the smooth functioning of hardware, software, and network performance. Your role will involve managing IT systems for on-site and WFH users, performing maintenance tasks, ensuring system security, and providing technical support to end-users. Additionally, you will be required to maintain IT asset inventory, licenses, and documentation, oversee functionality of various equipment, and ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards. You will also prepare reports on system health, asset management, and maintenance activities, support IT audits, and assist in implementing process improvements. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and IT peripherals. - Set up and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, etc. - Monitor and resolve hardware, software, and network performance issues. - Manage and support systems for on-site and WFH users, including asset allocation. - Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for IT hardware and infrastructure. - Ensure timely OS updates, software patches, and system backups. - Monitor system security through Sophos Endpoint, DLP, and Google Admin Console. - Maintain IT asset inventory, licenses, and documentation for all locations. - Oversee functionality of printers, UPS systems, VC equipment, and CCTV cameras. - Provide end-user technical support and ensure minimal downtime. - Ensure compliance with IT policies, data protection, and security standards. - Prepare regular reports on system health, asset management, and maintenance activities. - Support IT audits and assist in implementing process improvements. - Should be able to perform on-demand new tasks related to hardware and software. Qualifications Required: - Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field. Please note: The interview process for this role will consist of multiple rounds including Personal Interview with HR, Aptitude Test, Technical Round with HR Manager, and Final round with HOD. Upon selection, there will be a one-week classroom-based process training period followed by an assessment. The salary offered is 4.8 LPA with a training period of 2 months where the candidate will receive half salary. The probation period is 6 months with full salary.
