• Provide end-to-end clinical care for antenatal, intrapartum and postpartum patients, ensuring evidence-based maternal and neonatal outcomes.
• Perform and lead operative procedures including caesarean sections, hysterectomies, laparoscopic gynaecologic surgeries and emergency obstetric interventions.
• Manage high-risk pregnancies and coordinate multidisciplinary care with neonatology, anaesthesia and fetal medicine teams.
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations using obstetric and transvaginal ultrasound, Doppler studies and cervical screening; interpret results and implement treatment plans.
• Provide outpatient consultation for gynaecologic conditions, family planning, infertility screening and follow-up care; document care plans and maintain accurate medical records.
• Lead clinical governance activities: participate in morbidity & mortality reviews, maintain OT standards, mentor junior doctors and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• MBBS with MS/DGO or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
• Valid medical registration with the appropriate State or National medical council
• Proven competence in operative obstetrics including Caesarean section and management of obstetric emergencies
• Experience with laparoscopic gynaecologic procedures and hysteroscopy
• Proficiency in obstetric/transvaginal ultrasound interpretation and Doppler fetal assessment
• Familiarity with protocols for management of postpartum haemorrhage, pre-eclampsia/eclampsia and sepsis
  

Preferred

• Training or certification in colposcopy
• Experience in fetal medicine clinics or advanced fetal monitoring (CTG/NST interpretation)
• Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent maternal resuscitation training
