Role Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments. Diagnose and treat various gynecological conditions. Perform surgical procedures, including minimally invasive surgeries. Provide prenatal, postnatal, and menopausal care. Educate patients on health and wellness practices. Manage and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Guide patients through treatment options and procedures. Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in gynecology. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records. Participate in community outreach and health education programs. Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and interns. Manage patient follow-ups and ongoing care. Address and respond to patient concerns and queries promptly. Contribute to departmental meetings and case discussions. Qualifications MD/MS in Gynecology and Obstetrics. DGO (Diploma in Gynecology and Obstetrics) is essential. Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in a similar role. Proficient in surgical techniques and methodologies. Strong knowledge of women’s health issues. Ability to work under high-pressure situations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in handling medical technology and software. Commitment to patient confidentiality and care. Strong organizational and leadership abilities. Willingness to participate in continuous education and training. Ability to develop treatment plans in collaboration with patients. Understanding of evidence-based practices in gynecology. Ability to manage multiple patients effectively. Compassionate and empathetic nature towards patients.
