About the Role

Key Responsibilities

1. Audio & Transcript Validation -

   Review Gujarati audio alongside pre-transcribed text to confirm accuracy, identify discrepancies, and ensure linguistic integrity across dialects and contexts.

2. Annotation Review -

   Validate language tags, labels, and structured annotations based on platform-specific or linguistic guidelines, ensuring they are applied consistently and correctly.

3. Quality & Accuracy Audits -

   Examine text for errors including compound words, split/broken words, homophones, and contextual nuances and verify adherence to linguistic rules and quality standards.

4. Timestamp Verification -

   Check the accuracy of timestamps for segments, sentences, or words, ensuring proper alignment with the audio.

5. Consistency Assurance-

   Confirm that all work aligns with project instructions, style guides, and quality frameworks, maintaining a uniform standard across all validated outputs.

Role Requirements

1. Gujarati Language Mastery -

   Native or near-native fluency with strong comprehension of dialects, accents, and subtle linguistic variations.

2. Exceptional Attention to Detail -

   Ability to consistently apply complex validation rules and identify even subtle errors or inconsistencies.

3. Technical Setup

Relevant Experience

1. Experience in quality assurance for linguistic data, audio/text evaluation, annotation review, or related language-focused roles.
2. Knowledge of linguistic annotation platforms, QA interfaces, or audio-text alignment tools.
3. Preferred - Education or experience in linguistics, translation, Gujarati content development, or similar language-oriented fields.
