Description
1. Responsible for the smooth, efficient and profitable running of the Cinema area. 2. Oversee and direct all and any aspects of cinema operations including box office, concessions, telesales, ushering, floors, and officiate in the absence of the Executive / Duty Manager. 3. Supervise the functions of the department employees, facilities, operations and cost on a day- to-day basis. 4. Monitor and control, the following: · Quality levels of product and service · Customer satisfaction · Merchandising and marketing · Operating costs & Maximizing sales. · Sanitation, cleanliness and hygiene of the entire area under his purview. · Ensure optimum performance in specific jobs assigned in the above areas. · Q Management. · SOP’s being followed. 5. Sets up targets/ goals for the department, makes constant effort to achieve the same. 6. To introduce new ways and means to minimize transaction time at box office and at the concessions. 7. Oversee the services of Cinema from box-office to concessions and cleaning, to ensure highest standards and quality services at all times. 8. Conduct under the guidance of the Manager Operations, such functions as hiring, employee orientation, staff training , on the job performance, coaching and disciplinary action if necessary, to ensure appropriate staffing and productivity. 9. Establishes and maintains the record systems to include but not limited to: · Programme file · Promotion file · Activities file · File on customer comments form · Ticket register · Complimentary ticket register · DCR · YIELD 10. Ensures that displays are up-dated at all times, and effectively co-ordinates for advertising films. 11. Prepares monthly reports, forecast report and any other report pertaining to the cinema department. 12. Monitor and control departmental expenses, & maintain revenue/accounts related records. 13. Responsible to implement revenue drop control, conciliation of cash, and drop report at the end of each shift. 14. Responsible to implement unit marketing plan – promotions – block booking. 15. Ensure compliance with all legal / statutory requirements in connection with Cinemas. 16. Maintain minimum stock levels of all items and participates in inventories on weekly basis. 17. To ensure smooth operations at all times. 18. To Work in a team environment - with total hands on approach. 19. Make rosters on a weekly basis for box office, ushering, concession staff and strictly control manpower costs. 20. Responsible to ensure programming is done as per the operational requirement 21. Engage in Audit clarification in liaison with the finance manager. 22. Responsible to conduct the appraisal process of Operations Associate and Team Leader. 23. Responsible to sanction leave request and grant permissions. 24. Responsible for the recruitment process. 25. Responsible for the planning and implementing the duty roster. 26. Supervise housekeeping functions in the lobby area, rest rooms, auditoriums, and administrative offices. 27. Manage Food and Beverage merchandising using various mediums and creative to stimulate customers to impulse buying and boost sales.
