Job Description

Early-stage B2B SaaS. Founder-led sales. Outbound-first.


Mission

Build a repeatable outbound engine and the minimum RevOps systems behind it.

Outcomes over tooling.


Who you will target

  • B2B decision-makers across 2–3 ICPs:
  • Freight forwarders and 3PLs
  • Exporters and importers
  • Logistics service providers / NVOCCs


What you will do

  • Build ICP segments, account lists, and persona lists
  • Use Clay daily to automate list production: enrichment, dedupe, scoring, QA gates, send-ready exports
  • Launch and iterate outbound sequences (email-first, LinkedIn optional). Run A/B tests and improve results weekly
  • Own deliverability basics: verification, suppression, bounce control, volume ramping
  • Set up lean CRM lifecycle stages, routing, required fields, and follow-up SLAs
  • Build simple dashboards and weekly reporting for decisions: replies, meetings, SQLs, conversion, deliverability, pipeline influence
  • Create lightweight automations to remove busywork: enrichment → routing → tasks → alerts → QA checks
  • Keep documentation tight so the system is repeatable


First 90 days (what you ship)

A working Clay-driven outbound system producing verified, deduped, segmented lead lists, live sequences with ongoing testing, stable deliverability, a clean CRM with routing and SLAs, simple dashboards used weekly by the founder, and a small set of reliable automations that reduce manual ops without breaking data quality.


Requirements (non-negotiable)

  • Clay expertise is mandatory: proven workflows for enrichment, logic, QA gates, scoring, and exports for outbound
  • Hands-on outbound ops. You have run list → sequence → replies → meetings workflows end-to-end
  • Strong data hygiene discipline and a clear dedupe and field standards approach
  • Deliverability awareness and suppression/opt-out handling
  • Practical automation skills. Ship fast, keep it stable
  • CAN-SPAM and GDPR basics
  • Data minimisation and opt-outs must be handled correctly

  • CRM: HubSpot or Pipedrive
  • Sequencing: Apollo or equivalent
  • Verification: NeverBounce/ZeroBounce or equivalent
  • Automation: Zapier or Make
  • Reporting: CRM dashboards + Google Sheets
  • Collaboration: Slack + Google Docs


What success looks like

Qualified meetings and SQLs every week, improving reply rates, clean CRM data, fast follow-up, reliable automations, and compliant outreach.
