Visual Communication- Graphic Designer

Role Summary

As a Graphic Designer, you will be at the core of our visual storytelling engine — translating brand strategies into eye-catching, scroll-stopping, and meaningful visuals across digital platforms. Your role is not just to design but to solve problems visually, blending creativity with purpose to deliver assets that resonate with audiences and drive campaign results.

You’ll collaborate closely with content writers, strategists, video editors, and account managers to conceptualize and execute digital creatives, including social media posts, performance ads, carousels, web banners, branding assets, and motion-first layouts. You’ll also contribute to internal campaigns, client pitches, and visual ideation for new and ongoing brands.


🎨 Key Responsibilities

* Create engaging and platform-optimized graphics for digital campaigns, websites, emails, blogs, and social media (Instagram, LinkedIn, Meta Ads, YouTube).

* Interpret creative briefs into visual stories aligned with brand tone and campaign objectives.

* Collaborate with the content and video team to co-create carousels, ads, and scripts that work as integrated pieces.

* Work on branding assets — logos, brand kits, typography guides, templates, and visual identity systems.

* Design for performance ads with attention to click-through psychology, heat zones, and audience behavior.

* Support web design layouts, mockups, and UI elements (in collaboration with the web team).

* Create presentation decks and pitch visuals that are clean, sharp, and brand-aligned.

* Maintain consistency of design systems across all platforms.

* Follow design processes - from wireframing and concept sketches to final output and export.

* Stay updated with design trends, social formats, UI/UX standards, and visual storytelling techniques.


 What You Must Know 

🔹 Design Tools

* Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva)

* Knowledge of Figma or Adobe XD (for UI/UX and web layouts) is a plus

🔹 Design Fundamentals

* Strong grasp of layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy

* Understanding of responsive design across screen sizes

* Pixel-perfect attention to spacing, alignment, and visual balance

🔹 Digital Content Design

* Social media creatives: static, carousel, GIFs, memes

* Meta and Google display ads with conversion-focused messaging

* Website mockups, banners, icons, and thumbnails

* Campaign branding: festive creatives, event assets, giveaways, etc.

🔹 Creative Thinking

* Ability to interpret content or brief and translate it into a visual format

* Think visually to support storytelling, not just decorate text

* Mix strategy with aesthetics - understand the “why” behind every design

🔹 Branding & Identity

* Create or work within existing brand guidelines

* Develop scalable design systems and templates

* Adapt the visual tone based on brand personality (luxury, mass, minimalist, edgy, etc.)

🔹 Collaboration & Workflow

* Communicate design intent and direction clearly to the team

* Work with writers, editors, and performance marketers in sync

* Manage files, layers, exports, and handovers with clarity and structure

* Deep understanding of digital platform specifications (Instagram post vs. story vs. reel cover vs. LinkedIn carousel)

* Ability to handle multiple brands/projects simultaneously

Must Have

  • Less of a copy cat but more of a cool cat
  • Less of Gyan/ talks and more of hand-on experience
  • High on power of observation and story visualisation. Someone who sees art/design in everything around
  • Understanding of disruptive themes, art work and agency level brand centric manifestations
  • Nothing less than global standards while working on any creative/ viral marketing areas
  • Ability to deliver trend setting art work as expected from agencies by the new age brands and clients
  • Known to deliver cool work rather than keeping cool looks only
  • Understanding of graphics / design tools at a professional level
  • Hand on experience – Photoshop, Corel, Illustrator with brain of his/her own


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets
  • Create compelling and effective logos, designs, print and digital media
  • Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape and market trends


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in graphic design
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills
  • Portfolio of work
