Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Google Ads Manager to lead and scale our paid media efforts across Google platforms (Search, Display, YouTube, Discovery, Shopping). The ideal candidate is highly analytical, obsessed with performance metrics (ROAS, CPA, CPL, CAC), and has a deep understanding of Google Ads strategies to drive measurable growth.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Plan, execute, and optimize Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, YouTube, Shopping, App Campaigns) for maximum ROI.
  • Own end-to-end campaign management: audience research, media planning, budget allocation, ad creation, A/B testing, optimization.
  • Monitor daily performance metrics, identify trends/issues, and proactively optimize campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to brief and review ad copies, banners, and video assets tailored for campaigns.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and customer segmentation to improve targeting.
  • Build detailed reports and dashboards to communicate campaign performance and actionable insights.
  • Manage large monthly ad budgets efficiently while maintaining CPA/ROAS targets.
  • Stay updated on Google Ads platform changes, beta features, and industry best practices.
  • Work closely with analytics and product teams to track attribution, pixel integrations, and conversion rate optimization.
  • Lead experiments across bidding strategies, audience segments, and creative formats to unlock growth.
  • Train and mentor junior team members (if applicable).

Requirements

  • 4+ years hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns with strong results.
  • Expertise in Performance Marketing KPIs (ROAS, CPA, CTR, Quality Score, Conversion Rate).
  • Deep understanding of campaign structuring, bidding strategies (manual, tROAS, tCPA, Max Conversions, etc.).
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio (or similar reporting tools).
  • Familiarity with audience strategies: remarketing, customer match lists, in-market, custom intent audiences.
  • Strong analytical and Excel/Sheets skills — ability to derive insights from data.
  • Google Ads Certification(s) preferred.
  • Experience in e-commerce, fintech, edtech, SaaS, or high-growth startup environments is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Self-starter, growth-oriented, and passionate about performance marketing.
  • Good to Have:Experience with other paid channels (Meta Ads, LinkedIn, Programmatic) is a bonus.
  • Familiarity with CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) tools like Hotjar, VWO, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for troubleshooting tags and pixels.
