Key Responsibilities for a Lady Gold Appraiser (Managerial):  * Gold Appraisal:   * Accurately assess the purity, weight, and authenticity of gold items (jewelry, coins, bars) using various testing methods (acid tests, electronic testers, density meters). Gold Jewellery Valuation.   * Stay updated on market trends, gold prices, and industry regulations.   * Maintain detailed records of all appraisals.  * Managerial Skills:   * Oversee daily operations of the appraisal section/entity.   * Manage a small team (if applicable), including training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.   * Ensure compliance with all company policies and ethical standards.   * Handle customer inquiries and resolve any appraisal-related disputes professionally.   * Contribute to business development and customer acquisition strategies.   * Maintain high ethical standards and integrity in all dealings.   * Strong communication and interpersonal skills.   * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.  * Customer Service:   * Provide excellent customer service, explaining appraisal processes clearly and patiently.   * Build and maintain good relationships with customers. Desired Qualifications:  * Experience: Proven experience as a gold appraiser, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity within the gold buying/loan sector.  * Certification: While not always mandatory for second-hand buyers, a certification from a recognized gold appraisal institute (like those mentioned in the search results: Global Gold Foundation, Indian Gold Institute) would be a significant advantage.  * Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of different gold karats, purity standards, and market valuation methods.
