PMO Senior Manager Department: Project Management Office / Strategic Programs Job Summary: The PMO Senior Manager plays a key leadership role in driving the successful execution of large-scale strategic programs and deals. This role is responsible for overseeing PMO Managers and their respective project portfolios, ensuring consistent governance, delivery excellence, and alignment with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of program management, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional leadership. Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee one or more complex deals or large-scale programs, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget. Manage and mentor a team of PMO Managers who handle individual projects or sub-programs. Establish program governance structures, delivery methodologies, and KPIs to track progress and performance. Serve as the primary escalation point for program-level risks, issues, and changes. Work closely with senior stakeholders, clients, and internal teams to align programs with strategic objectives. Ensure resource planning and capacity management across multiple projects and teams. Monitor financials, budgeting, and forecasting for programs, ensuring profitability and efficiency. Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned, innovation in delivery approaches, and standardization. Present regular program updates and executive dashboards to leadership and clients Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred). 10+ years of experience in project/program management, including 3-5 years in a senior PMO leadership role. Proven track record of delivering large-scale, multi-million dollar programs/deals. PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certifications required. Strong knowledge of project governance, risk management, and financial tracking. Experience working in complex, matrixed environments with cross-functional teams. Preferred Skills: Strategic thinking and ability to connect program delivery to business value. Expertise in tools such as MS Project, Power BI, JIRA, Clarity PPM, or similar platforms. Exposure to Agile, SAFe, and hybrid delivery models. Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
