Job Overview:

  • We’re looking for a

    hunter

    – someone who thrives on generating new leads, breaking into new markets, and

    closing high-value deals

    . The

    General Manager – Sales

    will play a critical role in expanding Crystal Group’s presence in the reefer container leasing space by

    winning new business

    across sectors like

    pharma, frozen foods, dairy, and Q-commerce

    . This role is

    purely acquisition-focused

    — no key account management, no after-sales handholding. Your job is to bring in big business and move to the next.


Key Responsibilities:

New Business Acquisition

  • Identify and pursue

    high-value leads

    across target sectors and geographies.
  • Focus on

    first-time client acquisition

    – breaking into new accounts and industries.
  • Qualify leads, pitch container leasing and cold chain solutions, and

    close deals independently

    .

Enterprise Deal Closure

  • Lead all aspects of

    enterprise-level sales closures

    – from discovery to final contract.
  • Create customized proposals with a

    solutions mindset

    for cold chain needs.
  • Negotiate commercials, lease terms, and contract structure to optimize margins.

Market Mapping & Outreach

  • Build a

    systematic sales funnel

    through outreach, cold calling, referrals, and industry networks.
  • Identify untapped verticals and

    high-potential use cases

    for reefer containers.
  • Generate qualified leads across India with support from marketing and internal teams.

Sales Strategy & Reporting

  • Build and execute

    quarterly sales plans

    to hit aggressive new business targets.
  • Report progress on lead pipeline, deal status, closures, and revenue forecasts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (ops, technical, finance) only during pre-sales phase.


Ideal Candidate Profile:

Experience:

  • 8–15 years in

    B2B sales

    , preferably in

    cold chain logistics, container leasing, supply chain, or industrial sales

  • Must have

    closed large-ticket deals independently

    (₹50L+ per client annually)
  • Exposure to

    asset leasing, equipment rentals, or capital goods

    is a strong plus

Skills:

  • Strong

    hunting instinct

    – proactive, self-driven, and target-focused
  • Excellent in

    solution selling, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement

  • Strong

    commercial acumen

    – understands margin management and deal structuring
  • Fluent in

    English + Hindi

    (regional languages a plus)

  • Pharma cold chain

    & bulk vaccine distributors
  • Frozen foods

    / meat processing / seafood exporters
  • Dairy processors & cooperatives

  • Q-commerce / hyperlocal delivery chains

  • 3PLs / Logistics players expanding into cold chain
