Job Description

As an IT Support Specialist at the company, you will be responsible for providing technical support in a computer-related or IT operational environment. Your qualifications should include a third level qualification in a computer-related discipline and one or more industry certifications such as Comptia A+, Server +, Network +, or MCP in Windows 7/8/10. Your role will involve improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other documentation, so excellent written and communication skills in English are essential. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical support and assistance to users in resolving computer-related issues. - Document and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other process documents. - Maintain knowledge of operating systems and application software used in the company. - Configure and support Windows Desktop (7, 8, 10) and Microsoft Office 2013/2016 or Office 365. - Experience with Ticket Tool, Fresh Service, and Service Now (SNOW) for issue tracking and resolution. - Collaborate with the team to support a virtual desktop environment, including CITRIX XenDesktop/XenApp, Azure, and AWS. - Handle customer support inquiries on a Global Service Desk on call basis. Qualifications Required: - 2-3 years of experience in a computer-related support or IT operational environment. - Third level qualification in a computer-related discipline. - Industry certifications such as Comptia A+, Server +, Network +, or MCP in Windows 7/8/10. - Good problem-solving abilities and ability to work under own initiative. - Familiarity with ITIL Service Management principles. - Experience with active directory, user management, and supporting physical networking is desirable. - Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment. Please note that the job may involve working in a 24/7 shift pattern, and good time-keeping and customer focus are essential qualities for this role.,
