As bp transitions to an integrated energy company, the Customers & Products (C&P) business area is establishing a business and technology center (BTC) in Pune, India. The primary goal of this initiative is to enhance customer experience, foster innovation, and build global capabilities at scale. The BTC in Pune will play a crucial role in uniting colleagues from various parts of C&P and collaborating with other functions across the organization. As the Global Insights Manager, you will lead a diverse analytics team tasked with delivering strategic and actionable insights across global business units and functions. Your role will involve transforming data into intelligence to facilitate informed decision-making and operational excellence. In this position, you are expected to possess deep expertise in data analytics, demonstrate agile leadership, and engage collaboratively across functions, markets, and geographies. Your responsibilities will encompass strategic leadership and team management, wherein you will mentor the analytics team to foster innovation and continuous learning. You will define and implement the global insights strategy aligned with business priorities and digital transformation goals. Additionally, you will champion the adoption of advanced analytics, AI/ML, and data science capabilities across the enterprise. You will be accountable for designing and implementing end-to-end analytics solutions, translating complex business challenges into analytical models, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality insights through dashboards, reports, and predictive models. Collaborating with data architects and governance leads, you will uphold data quality, consistency, and compliance across platforms while supporting the development of centralized data lakes and modeling frameworks for scalable analytics. As a key player in agile execution and change management, you will oversee analytics initiatives, prioritize projects that deliver incremental business value, and lead change management efforts to embed insights into decision-making processes. Partnering with senior leaders, you will identify insight needs, co-create solutions, and influence strategic direction through evidence-based insights. Moreover, you will drive analytics literacy and upskilling across the organization, promote a global analytics community of practice, and facilitate knowledge exchange. Your qualifications should include a degree in Data Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field, along with extensive experience in leading analytics teams, data modeling, statistical analysis, and proficiency in tools like Python, Power BI, SQL, and cloud-based analytics platforms.
