This Position reports to:

Global IS Manager for Identity&Access Ma

Your role and responsibilities

The IAM Compliance Lead ensures ABBs Identity and Access Management capabilities deliver both strong security and measurable business value. The role is responsible for embedding compliance and security requirements directly into IAM processes, governance, and services making them effective, efficient, auditable, and scalable. Acting as a bridge between IAM operations, compliance, audit, and business stakeholders, the IAM Compliance Lead drives accountability, strengthens ABBs security posture, and ensures IAM contributes to risk reduction, regulatory readiness, and enterprise agility.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Group IS Security Risk and Compliance global organization. Main stakeholders are Business Area Security Leads, Application Owners and Managers across organization and geographic locations.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Ensure IAM Compliance Governance: Oversee IGA, PAM, AM, and CIAM to confirm that controls enhance security, scalability, and organizational efficiency; align IAM with regulatory standards (e.g., ICOFR, GDPR, Consent Management) to streamline audits and mitigate risk exposure.
Embed Security by Design: Integrate compliance and risk considerations into IAM architectures, services, and lifecycle processes to reduce rework and enable sustainable growth.
Standardize IAM Onboarding & Reporting: Ensure consistent processes and controls for application onboarding; develop compliance reporting (KPIs, control health, remediation status) to support transparency and data-driven decisions.
Promote collaboration and awareness: Work alongside important partners (e.g., Audit, Legal, HR, Security) to enhance governance, increase knowledge of IAM compliance, and establish security as a supporter of business operations.

Qualifications for the role:

10+ years of practical experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), IT Risk, or Security Compliance within large, federated organizations. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage IGA, PAM, AM, CIAM, and Consent Management systems.
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and standards, including ISO 27001, NIST, ICOFR, GDPR, and other data privacy regulations. Skilled in interpreting control requirements, managing audit evidence, and ensuring regulatory alignment.
Experience contributing to IAM transformation and implementation programs, aligning governance, process design, and compliance to deliver measurable business impact.
Adept at working across enterprise IAM systems and compliance frameworks, translating complex requirements into actionable, scalable solutions. Skilled in collaborating with technical teams, compliance units, and business partners to promote understanding and responsibility.
Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field. Skilled in communication in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively in global, cross-functional environments.
