Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh Role Type: Full-time, On-site Experience: Minimum 2 years (design + site-based work) Education: Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or a closely related field About Us GeoCon Infra Pvt. Ltd. delivers practical and reliable solutions in civil and geotechnical engineering. We specialise in designing, supplying, and building reinforced soil structures and providing ground improvement systems. Active across India and abroad, our focus is on quality, safety, and solving real-world infrastructure challenges. Key Responsibilities Design and analysis of soil retaining structures, focusing mainly on reinforced soil walls and slopes. Soil reinforcement using geosynthetics. Slope stabilisation & design of soil nailing and anchoring systems. Interpretation of ground conditions using desk studies and geotechnical investigation reports. Evaluation of foundation soils and selection of appropriate ground improvement solutions, including basal reinforcement, stone/sand columns, and prefabricated vertical drains (PVDs). Update designs as needed based on site feedback and real ground conditions. Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation and reports. Routine site visits for quality control, design validation, and coordination. Ensuring designs meet project specifications and comply with relevant codes and regulations. Requirements A Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering field. At least 2 years’ hands-on experience in both geotechnical design and fieldwork. Sound knowledge of IS/IRC and global standards such as AASHTO/FHWA/BS. Experience with geosynthetics, RS walls, and various ground improvement methods. Ability to read and interpret borehole logs, geotechnical reports, and laboratory test data. Proficiency in tools like MSEW+, ReSSA+, or similar (willingness to learn is essential). Competence in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong communication skills in both Hindi and English. Detail-oriented with a proactive and collaborative approach. Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet tight deadlines. Flexible to travel frequently for site-related duties.
