Geologist - Job Description.

• Location : Vastrapur - Ahmedabad

Key Responsibilities :

• Carrying out day to day operation matters of Geotechnical Investigation i.e. Project Plans, Site inspections, Daily Reports, Daily drilling work program, Work Orders to drillers and Laboratory testing program for geotechnical projects.
• Plan and execute geological field investigations, including mapping, sampling, and data collection using specialized equipment
• Provide geological input for civil engineering projects (e.g., foundation stability, tunneling) and environmental assessments (e.g., soil contamination, landslide risk).
• Work closely with engineers, environmental scientists, drilling teams, and project managers to integrate geological data into broader project plans.
• Ensure all fieldwork and laboratory activities comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
• Carrying out Project coordination, preparation of project information sheets (PIS). Supervision of ground investigations.
• Carrying out Site walk over surveys, as part of site reconnaissance. Preparation of Daily Progress Report (DPR).
• Carrying out all field test as par standard like IS/BS/ASTM.
• Carrying out Site Data collection and management, Data Analysis.
• Preparation of laboratory schedules as per the requirement of the project.
• Carrying out Studies Field and Laboratory test if required
• Take whole the project with all field the test and successfully finished in timely.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Geology, Earth Science (M.Sc - Geology).
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in geological mapping, structural analysis, and petrology.
• Demonstrated experience with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and geological modeling packages.
• Ability to work in challenging outdoor environments and travel to remote sites as required.
