Geologist

As a Structural Geologist at a TOP MNC in Bangalore, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in Structural Geology and Upstream Oil & Gas to contribute to the company's success. Your key responsibilities will include: - Applying your Structural Geologist experience to analyze and interpret regional and local structural fault frameworks, utilizing both 2D and 3D seismic mapping techniques. - Demonstrating a strong understanding of Geomechanics principles, focusing on Stress and Strain analysis, Rock Mechanics, and Fluid Flow. - Utilizing your expertise to conduct fault framework analysis, generate structural cross-sections, and create detailed structural maps. To qualify for this role, you must possess: - A minimum of an M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree in Geology or Earth Science, specializing in structural geology or basin analysis. - 12-20 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry. - Proficiency in mapping regional and local structural fault frameworks using seismic data. - Knowledge of Geomechanics principles and their application in structural analysis.
