General Manager - Treasury

• Ensuring funds are available for cash flow requirements of Birla Carbon, like capex programs, refinancing, working capital, dividends, etc. at most competitive terms, pricing, and structures, through several borrowing programs like term loans, project finance, revolving facilities, debt market instruments, bilateral facilities, etc.
• Optimize working capital through supply chain and off-balance-sheet financing.
• Manage, expand, and deepen the relationship with bankers and institutional lenders.
• Support sites in cash flow management and arrange overdraft and credit facilities for respective site operations.
• Design and implement hedging programs across Birla Carbon for currency and interest rate exposure and ensure those are complied with.
• Maximize yield on short term liquidity available anywhere in the business.
• Related statutory reporting, e.g. exchange regulators, central banks, etc.
  

Support financial analysis, diligence and other processes for organic and inorganic growth, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, etc.

Accountability

• Borrowing programs, term loans, project finance, syndicated loans, bilateral facilities, revolving credit lines, overdrafts, leasing, etc.
  

• Supply-chain, factoring, and off-balance sheet financing
  

• Credit ratings, supporting lenders credit processes
  

• Risk mitigation (interest rate and currency risks), treasury policies and procedures for all sites, and ensuring compliance, related reporting
  

• Develop new relationships with lenders, financial institutions, and bankers
  

• Maximize risk-adjusted yield on short term investments
  

• Support in pursuing organic and inorganic growth opportunities like M&A, JV, greenfield projects, etc. with financial analysis, diligence, and other such efforts
