Role Overview

We are seeking a visionary and hands-on Technology Leader (GM/AGM level) who can drive product thinking, R&D, and technology strategy for the organization. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of emerging technologies, a strong grasp of government and enterprise tech needs, and the ambition to eventually grow into a CTO or Chief Innovation Officer role.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Technology Planning: Identify, evaluate, and recommend new product ideas and technologies aligned with market needs—especially in the GovTech, cybersecurity, and digital infrastructure domains.

• Product Innovation & Portfolio Expansion: Drive R&D efforts to conceptualize, validate, and build product offerings that solve real business and public sector challenges.

• Tech Partnership & Alliances: Evaluate and onboard global technology partners; manage integration of third-party tools into Aska’s solution ecosystem.

• Government Technology Mapping: Track key government initiatives (e.g., Digital India, Smart Cities, Public Safety) and map them to potential product opportunities.

• Cross-functional Leadership: Work closely with Sales, Pre-sales, and Operations to align product direction with business goals.

• Vendor & Tech Evaluation: Lead technical due diligence on prospective technologies, platforms, or partner offerings.

• Build Technical Bench Strength: Mentor and guide internal teams in understanding emerging technologies, building PoCs, and enabling pre-sales support.

• Thought Leadership: Represent Aska at tech conferences, government events, and strategic industry forums.

• Technology development: Lead, software development and technology development initiatives within Aska Group.

Candidate Profile

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science / Electronics / IT. MBA or Executive program from a reputed institute (preferred but not mandatory).

Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in technology/product management roles, with at least 4–5 years in a strategic leadership or R&D-focused capacity.

• Experience in GovTech, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, or enterprise software solutions.

• Proven track record of launching products or solutions from concept to market.

• Exposure to Government/PSU tech environments is strongly preferred.

• Skills:

• Ability to assess both global and Indian market trends
