General Manager

The General Manager oversees all daily operations of the hospitality property, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and team performance while maintaining brand standards and regulatory compliance.

Core Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Service

• Ensure consistently outstanding guest service across all departments
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly
• Monitor guest satisfaction scores and implement improvements
• Maintain visible presence and engage directly with guests

Operations Management

• Oversee Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance departments
• Ensure property cleanliness, maintenance, and brand standards compliance
• Manage daily operations meetings with department heads
• Oversee food safety, sanitation, and health & safety protocols

Team Leadership

• Train, and develop department heads and staff
• Create positive, service-oriented workplace culture
• Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching
• Ensure adequate staffing across all shifts
• Foster employee engagement and reduce turnover

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations
• Maintain licenses, permits, and certifications
• Oversee security protocols and emergency procedures
• Manage insurance claims and risk mitigation

Financial Oversight

• Manage operational budgets and control expenses
• Review financial reports and implement cost-saving measures
• Approve departmental expenditures

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
• 10+ years hospitality management experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of hotel operations and PMS systems
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
